The Eccentric Slotter Machine
The Eccentric Slotter Machine, manufactured by HIC Machinery Co., is designed for slotting and corner cutting operations after the cutting and creasing process of corrugated sheets. Both processes are performed simultaneously to ensure efficiency and accurate finishing of corrugated boards.
Slot dies are mounted on an eccentric shaft that moves in an arc, allowing the board to be slotted in a precise shearing manner. The corner cutting die works on a similar mechanism to deliver clean and uniform cuts. Sheets are manually fed through the machine, and due to its rugged construction, it can handle multiple sheets in a single stroke.
The dies can be easily repositioned as required, and slot depth adjustment is provided through an integrated gauge system. Two guides on the feed table ensure proper sheet alignment and accurate feeding during operation.
