The 4 Bar Rotary Slittering & Creasing Machine is an essential unit in the initial stage of corrugated box manufacturing. Designed and manufactured by HIC Machinery Co., this machine performs slitting and creasing operations simultaneously, ensuring precision, efficiency, and uniform output for various board specifications.
The machine consists of two pairs of shafts. The pair directly adjacent to the feed table carries the cutting dies, while the second pair carries the creasing dies. Both cutting and creasing dies are manufactured in two halves and bolted together for convenient removal and maintenance. The two lower shafts can be raised or lowered using a handwheel positioned at the back, allowing easy adjustment according to board thickness (3 ply, 5 ply, 7 ply, or 9 ply). Separate gauges of creasers can be used for different board requirements.
